Syncing your account across web and mobile

Your InstantMarkets account is the same whether you access it from a browser or the mobile app. Everything stays in sync automatically.

What syncs automatically

When you sign in to the app with your InstantMarkets account, the following are immediately available:

  • Saved searches — all searches saved on the web appear in the app, and vice versa
  • Alerts — any alerts you've created are active across both web and mobile
  • Profile — your business profile, keywords, NAICS codes, and geographic preferences
  • Notification preferences — your chosen email frequency settings

How syncing works

There's nothing to configure. As long as you're signed in to the same account on both web and mobile, changes made on one platform appear on the other within seconds.

For example:

  • Create a saved search on the web → it appears immediately in the app under My Searches
  • Set up an alert on the app → it's active and visible on the web dashboard
  • Update your profile keywords on the web → your app searches reflect the update on the next search

Troubleshooting sync issues

If something doesn't appear to be syncing:

  1. Check you're signed in to the same account. Tap Account in the bottom nav and verify the email address shown matches your web account.
  2. Pull to refresh. On any list screen in the app, pull down to force a refresh from the server.
  3. Sign out and back in. This forces a full re-sync of your account data.

If the problem persists, contact support with details of what isn't syncing.
