InstantMarkets' relationship to government agencies
A clarification of InstantMarkets' status as an independent aggregator — not affiliated with government agencies and not an official submission channel.
InstantMarkets' relationship to government agencies
InstantMarkets is an independent, private-sector service. This article clarifies what that means for how you should use the platform.
What InstantMarkets is
InstantMarkets is a procurement intelligence aggregator. We monitor publicly accessible government procurement portals and surface their opportunity listings in a single, searchable interface. Our goal is to save suppliers the time of checking dozens of portals individually.
What InstantMarkets is not
- Not an official government portal. InstantMarkets is not operated by or affiliated with any government agency, federal department, or public body.
- Not an authorized submission channel. You cannot submit bids, register as a vendor, or fulfill any official procurement requirement through InstantMarkets. All of that must happen on the issuing agency's own portal.
- Not the authoritative source. The official solicitation documents on the agency's portal always take precedence. If there is any discrepancy between what InstantMarkets displays and what the agency has posted, the agency's version governs.
Always go to the source
For any opportunity you intend to respond to:
- Click View source on the InstantMarkets listing to go directly to the agency's portal.
- Download the official solicitation documents from there.
- Register as a vendor with the agency if required.
- Submit your response through the agency's designated channel.
