What is InstantMarkets and how does it work?
InstantMarkets is a procurement intelligence platform that aggregates public-sector bidding opportunities — RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, ITBs, and more — from thousands of government agencies, municipalities, school districts, and other public entities across the United States.
Who is it for?
InstantMarkets is built for suppliers and vendors who want to grow their public-sector business. Whether you're a small business searching for your first government contract or an established firm tracking dozens of agencies, InstantMarkets helps you find, filter, and follow opportunities that match what you sell.
It's also used by organizations that want to offer a Marketplace Widget — an embedded procurement feed — to their members or constituents (see the Marketplace Widget section for more on that).
How does it work?
- We collect the data. InstantMarkets continuously monitors and ingests opportunity listings from federal, state, county, city, and special-district procurement portals.
- You search and filter. Use keyword search, NAICS codes, agency filters, geographic filters, and opportunity-type filters to surface the bids that matter to you.
- You save searches and set alerts. Once you've found a useful search, save it. InstantMarkets will email you when new matching opportunities are posted.
- You track and respond. Click through to the source agency portal to download documents, register as a vendor, and submit your response.
What InstantMarkets is not
InstantMarkets is a discovery and research tool — it surfaces opportunities and links you to the source. It does not submit bids on your behalf, manage vendor registrations, or store your proposal documents.
