Searching by issuing agency

If you already work with specific government agencies — or want to monitor a particular agency's procurement activity — you can search and filter by agency directly.

Filter by agency name

  1. Run a search (or open the filters panel from the search page).
  2. In the Agency section of the filters panel, type the name of the agency into the search box.
  3. Select the agency from the autocomplete list.
  4. Results will update to show only opportunities from that agency.

You can select multiple agencies. Results will include opportunities from any of the selected agencies (OR logic).

Browse by agency

You can also navigate directly to an agency's profile page to see all their current and recent opportunities:

  1. Click Agencies in the main navigation.
  2. Use the search bar or browse by state and agency type.
  3. Click an agency name to open their profile.
  4. The profile shows their active opportunities, recent awards, and contact information.

Following an agency

If you want to track an agency's activity over time, click Follow on their agency profile page. Followed agencies appear in your Following dashboard, and you'll be notified when they post new opportunities.

This feature requires a paid plan. See Following a specific agency for more details.

Searching by issuing agency type

If you're interested in a category of agencies (e.g., all school districts in Ohio) rather than a specific agency, use the Agency type filter combined with the Geography filter. See Using advanced search filters for instructions.

Tips

  • Government agency names vary — the "City of Springfield" and "Springfield Municipal Government" may be the same entity listed differently. If you don't find results, try a shorter version of the name.
  • Federal agency searches work best with official abbreviations: "GSA", "DoD", "HHS", "VA".
