Managing notification frequency
How to change how often InstantMarkets emails you — per alert or globally — with immediate, daily, or weekly digest options.
Managing notification frequency
You can control how often InstantMarkets emails you about new opportunities — per alert, or globally for all alerts.
Frequency options
Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
Immediate | Sends an email as soon as a new match is found. Can mean multiple emails per day on active searches. |
Daily digest | Batches all new matches from the past 24 hours into one email, sent each morning. |
Weekly digest | Batches all new matches from the past 7 days into one email, sent Monday morning. |
Changing frequency for a specific alert
- Go to My Alerts in the sidebar.
- Click the edit (pencil) icon next to the alert you want to change.
- Select the new frequency from the dropdown.
- Click Save.
Changing frequency for all alerts at once
- Go to Account menu → Notification Preferences.
- Under Default alert frequency, select your preferred setting.
- Click Save.
This changes the default for any new alerts you create. To update existing alerts, you'll need to edit them individually.
Which frequency should I use?
- Immediate — best if you're in a fast-moving market where being first to see an opportunity matters. Not recommended if you have many active alerts.
- Daily digest — the best balance for most users. You stay informed without inbox overload.
- Weekly digest — good if you check InstantMarkets infrequently or are in a slower procurement cycle.
