Closing your account

If you'd like to permanently close your InstantMarkets account, here's what to expect and how to do it.

Before you close your account

• Cancel any active subscription first. Closing your account does not automatically cancel billing. Go to Account menu → Subscription & Billing → Cancel subscription before closing.
• Download any data you want to keep. Once your account is closed, your saved searches, alerts, and history are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

How to close your account

1. Click your account menu (top-right) and select Account Settings.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Close account.
3. Read the confirmation message and enter your password to verify.
4. Click Confirm close account.

Your account will be deactivated immediately and your personal data will be deleted within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

What gets deleted

• Your profile and account information
• Your saved searches and alerts
• Your search and activity history

What is not deleted

• Billing records and invoices, which are retained for legal and tax purposes
• Any anonymized usage data that cannot be linked back to you

Changed your mind?

Account closure is permanent. If you're considering closing due to cost, check if there's a pause option or consider downgrading to the free plan instead — you'll keep your account and saved searches without being billed.
